A New Hobby for Us

Sue’s Perspective

It is not all that unusual for couples to look for new hobbies in middle-age, since the kids are grown or otherwise out of the house at college, and the parents start finding new interests to fill their spare time. My name is Sue, and in our case I am 45 years old and have been a stay-at-home mom, and Ed is 48 years old, and currently a production manager with a manufacturing company in the Atlanta area. We had a pretty normal life, having met after college and raising two lovely daughters, and after moving several times from our original home in the Seattle area, we ended up in Atlanta. Most of this story will be from my perspective, but Ed will also explain portions of it that I am not as familiar with.
